Producers in the Municipal District of Willow Creek have been hard at work bringing this year’s harvest in, as above, east of Granum on Friday, Sept. 4.
Fire departments from Claresholm and Granum responded to a bale stack on fire about one mile west and a half mile south of Claresholm by the old dump road on Friday night, Sept. 4, at about 8:30 p.m. A total of 17 firefighters responded with six fire engines.
On September 01 around 1100 hrs a camo ALPS backpack was inadvertently left along the side of the East Sharples road in the Porcupine Hills, west of Claresholm, AB. The backpack contained hunting licence and tags, an Under Armour camo jacket, Redhead camo hoodie, a Montana Elk Decoy, two pairs of gloves, knives and saws, flashlight / headlamp and a small survival kit.
